Always as a hybrid e:HEV

Honda has the label maker pulled off the shelves and has been busy with it. Not only the new CR-V has price tags, the brand new Honda ZR-V has also received price tags. His prices start at €48,375.
As a manufacturer, you generally benefit from higher profit margins with crossovers and SUVs than with smaller models. It is therefore not surprising that car manufacturers prefer to have as many high-legged animals on the menu as possible. Honda has found a gap between the HR-V and the CR-V and fills it with the Honda ZR-V. Previously, that car had barely fit in between. The ZR-V is only a fraction smaller than the previous CR-V. The new Honda CR-V has grown a size and, according to the Japanese, the right to exist of the Civic technology-based ZR-V is therefore big enough.
Honda’s all-new competitor to the Toyota Corolla Cross and Volkswagen T-Roc has been electrified just like any other new Honda with the exception of the Civic Type-R. For the time being, it will therefore only come to our country as a hybrid ZR-V e:HEV. Just like the Civic e:HEV, the ZR-V e:HEV has a 141 hp and 182 Nm strong 2.0 petrol engine that, together with two electric motors, produces a system power of 184 hp and 315 Nm. This means that you are in 7.8 seconds from a standstill to a speed of 100 km / h. Its top speed: 13 km/h. The average consumption of the 1,589 kilogram ZR-V is 5.7 l/100 km. The car is 4.57 meters long and has a wheelbase of 2.66 meters. It is 5 centimeters wider than the HR-V and almost 6 centimeters lower than the CR-V. The luggage space is 370 liters, which makes it 20 percent more than the HR-V. If you throw the back seat flat, you can trust 1,291 liters of material in the ZR-V.
The Honda ZR-V costs a minimum of €48,375 in the Netherlands, which means that it falls neatly between the HR-V e:HEV, which is available from €37,690, and the CR-V e:HEV, which costs at least €55,000. The starting price of more than 48 grand applies to the Honda ZR-V in Elegance trim. It is also available as a Sport and as an Advance and costs €50,555 and €53,250 respectively.
