The Toyota bZ4X drops below 50 grand again. As an Active, the electric SUV is now available for €48,995, but the rest of the price list is also being overhauled (once again).
The Toyota bZ4X was presented in the spring of 2022 with a starting price of €48,495, but that price was adjusted upwards before the actual market launch. This increased the starting price to €50,995, but that will be different from now on. Toyota is adjusting prices again and now offering the same Active base version for €48,995. According to the Japanese, that price is temporary, by the way, but we are still asking what that means exactly.
It does not stop at a new price for the entry-level version of the bZ4X, which has already been discussed extensively. Other versions also have new prices, while Toyota is also tinkering with the equipment. The bZ4X Dynamic, the second trim level, is also a bit cheaper than before at €52,995. According to Toyota, this version is also better equipped, thanks to the arrival of, among other things, a 12.3-inch multimedia screen, a 360-degree camera, heated seats and an electric tailgate. The most expensive Premium is available from €56,995 and costs €59,995 with four-wheel drive. For comparison: after the last major price change, it was €61,995.
In addition to the regular range, the brand now also presents special Business versions of the bZ4X. The Toyota bZ4X Business is based on the ‘bare’ Active, but has a fiscal value of €45,995. That reduces the addition, so that is favorable for the business driver. The Business Plus is the business equivalent of the Dynamic, but costs €49,995 for the tax authorities. The difference between the regular and business versions is only in the door sills. In practice, business buyers pay €47,090 and €51,090 respectively for the Business models, which may also be available to private individuals after some insistence.
