4 iPhone apps that experts say you want to remove as soon as possible

Does your iPhone keep telling you that your storage is full? Removing 4 specific apps ensures that you are less tight on your storage space.

In addition to the annoying pop-ups, you also have another problem: there is no more storage space available on your iPhone for backups of WhatsApp, for example, and you can no longer store photos in iCloud.

Delete these iPhone apps for more storage

Tech expert Johan Alexander tells SheFinds what you can do about it.

#1 iMovie

Although iMovie on iPhones is usually used less often than on computers, it does take up the necessary storage space. If you don’t use the app, it’s better to uninstall it. This way you prevent your smartphone from being filled with special video effects and transitions that you don’t use anyway.

#2 TikTok from your iPhone

Not only is TikTok incredibly addictive (and controversial), but it also takes up a lot of storage space. This includes, for example, large amounts of cache files, temporary files and downloaded content. This can increase considerably over time and therefore take up a lot of storage capacity of your iPhone.

If you don’t use the app often or want to get rid of TikTok, it’s smart to completely remove the iPhone app. If you do not want this, it is best to delete the cache, data and downloaded content via the settings of the app.

#3 Garage Band

If you’re not a musician, GarageBand is probably an app you’d rather lose than get rich. The iPhone app is filled with sounds, instruments, and effects that eat away at your precious storage space. Get rid of it!

#4 Keynote from your iPhone

Keynote is a handy app for making presentations, but let’s be honest: how often do you use the app on your iPhone? If the answer – like with us – is hardly or not at all, then it’s time to kick this app off your phone as well. Here too, the rule is: don’t you use an app? Then delete it.

There is more…

Besides these are not the only 4 apps that can help free up storage space, there are more aspects that take up the necessary space on your iPhone. Think for example of videos, photos, music and games.

You can see exactly what is taking up the most space through your iPhone settings. Go to the Institutions, go to General and tap iPhone storage. Wait a moment and a handy overview will appear. This way you immediately know which content is best to remove.
