Matrix LED
Skoda is preparing the Scala and Kamiq for the next round and the two are introduced to new technology. Both the Scala and the Kamiq get matrix LED headlights.
Next week the curtain will go down on the renewed Skodas Scala and Kamiq and some small news is already seeping out about it. On the sketch above we see the headlight of the renewed Scala. In addition to the previously clearly visible LED daytime running lights, we also see the further implementation of the headlight. They are completely new units and a sketch of the nose of the renewed Scala already showed that the outline of the headlights will also be slightly different. The Scala gets a bit more pinched headlights, the Kamiq gets a somewhat thinner strip of daytime running lights and below that headlights in a different shape than now.
With the new headlights, the two are also introduced to technology that was not previously available, because the Skoda’s Scala and Kamiq now have LED matrix technology as an option. With this they will soon be in line with other models such as the Enyaq, Octavia and Superb. The compact duo will be unveiled on Tuesday 1 August. The Kamiq is the most popular of the two here in the Netherlands, with almost 6,000 units sold. The Scala currently stands at more than 4,400 units.
