Autonomous thanks to Mobileye

The electric Polestar 4 will be in Dutch showrooms in 2024. In it you will soon find software and hardware from Mobileye. That will be developing autonomous technology for the Polestar 4.
The Polestar 4, which made its world debut in April this year, will get technology on board from Mobileye, an autonomous driving technology company with which Tesla previously parted ways. With Mobileye’s software and hardware, the electric crossover must be able to find its way through traffic autonomously to a certain extent.
The Polestar 4 gets the new Chauffeur system from the technology company. It will be the first car in the world to be equipped with that system, Polestar proudly announces. “We know that self-driving is not always fun and exciting. With this technology, customers can drive autonomously whenever they want, making every journey enjoyable,” said Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath.
Model name ‘4’ does not indicate the placement of the Polestar 4 within the Polestar family, but at the time of release. The Polestar 4 is in fact the fourth model of the brand, although it is positioned between the Polestar 2 and the 3 in terms of positioning. Here you can read everything about the Polestar 4.
