Subaru Levorg Layback

Subaru introduces a partially new model with an equally partially new name. This is the Subaru Levorg Layback and it is more than just a slightly more adventurous Levorg.

Subaru is now planning a lot in the electrical field, but is also simply introducing new, more traditionally motorized models. Today we are introduced to the Subaru Levorg Layback, a variation on the Levorg theme that was also used in the Netherlands for several years. Between 2015 and 2019, Subaru also delivered a station wagon called Levorg here. The second generation Subaru Levorg has now been on the market for a while, although you can no longer get it here. The second Levorg gets an adventurous sister model in the form of this Levorg Layback.

Where you more or less had to see the previous Levorg as an Impreza station wagon, the Levorg is in fact a station wagon based on the current WRX, although it does not have the very strong power plant of that sporty sedan. The Levorg Layback stands more than 5 centimeters higher on its legs than the regular Levorg, is equipped with Outback-like plastic decoration all around and also has a completely revised front. The grille is wider than that of the base Levorg and a decorative element runs through it that recesses the new headlight units. It cannot be ruled out that the regular Levorg will also soon have this front. The Levorg Layback has a 176 hp powerful 1.8 and a CVT. For the time being, the Levorg Layback seems to remain a purely Japanese party.
