Mansory Land Rover Defender Black Edition

Leave the creation of exaggerated winged colossuses to tuner Mansory. The company proves that Mansory is not afraid to provide SUVs with extravagant spoiler work and heavy amounts of horsepower by pumping up the Land Rover Defender both visually and technically.

The strongest Defender that Land Rover has on the menu has a 525 hp V8 in its big nose. 525 hp apparently does not make Mansory’s blood flow any faster and the appearance of the Defender V8 apparently does not give the company any complicated feelings in the gut. Mansory is now introducing this Land Rover Defender Black Edition, limited to ten pieces. It does meet the taste of the company and – it expects – also that of its customer base.

Mansory Land Rover Defender Black Edition

Land Rover Defender according to Mansory: not exactly subtle.

The Defender Black Edition, always completely finished in black, carries a so-called wide body with attached front and rear screens and is therefore a lot wider than a standard model. Mansory fills the front and rear with elaborately layered bumpers full of lips and edges and also attaches side skirts that were created according to the same recipe to the Defender. Even the side mirror caps have been replaced by ones with extra edges that should emphasize the sportiness of the model. As if that weren’t enough, Mansory replaces the hood with a one peppered with holes. What will we see next? Four exhaust pipes, 24-inch large alloys, spoilers with spotlights above the windscreen, spoilers above the rear window, inserts in the grille and so on.

Thanks to ‘various adjustments’, the 5.0 V8 is good for 650 hp and 870 Nm. The eight-cylinder is therefore 125 hp and 245 Nm stronger than the original. With this power, the sinister device hurtles from a standstill to a speed of 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. Its top speed: 250 km/h.

Is it all beautiful? We leave that to the viewer. In any case, you can attract attention with this colossus. All exterior changes will eventually also be available for the five-door Defender 110.
