Do you like to go to the North or South Pole to be a sporty man or woman, but have you made yourself feel guilty about the way you and your car got there? Then this Nissan Hyper Adventure is especially for you. At least, if we can believe the images and accompanying letter from Nissan.

Earlier this month, Nissan showed off the first of a series of electric study models that it will bring to the Japan Mobility Show later this month. The first was called Hyper Urban and it is now joined by a show car that is just as ‘hyper’: the Hyper Adventure. Nissan describes the Hyper Adventure as a sporty SUV designed for “[…] people who are passionate about outdooradventures and for an environmentally friendly lifestyle.”

The Nissan Hyper Adventure is equipped with so-called V2X technology, which means that you can power everything and everyone everywhere with your SUV. Not just like that, according to Nissan “while still respecting the environment”. The Hyper Adventure promises to have a large battery pack with which, according to Nissan, you can charge not only your gadget or camping spot but also – yes – your electric jet skis. Very important.

The four-wheel drive Hyper Adventure, like the previously shown Hyper Urban, is overloaded with angular creases and sleek lines. The show car has a windshield that extends far down and a noticeably low side window. The glass roof undoubtedly brings in enough light. The rear lights follow the contours of the rear window and the brand name is written out from the center of the rear. The Hyper Urban has butterfly doors at the front and rear. This Hyper Adventure has doors at the front that open in the usual manner and gull-wing doors at the back. The back opens in two parts. According to Nissan, the Hyper Adventure is so spacious that you should also be able to fit things like skis or a kayak in it. The rear seat can be rotated 180 degrees. Handy for putting on your ski boots.
