Ducati Panigale 2023 Replica: 5 unique limited specials

Last season was the most successful season in road racing motorsport for Ducati. Not only was the hat-trick scored in both WorldSBK and MotoGP (riders’, constructors’ and teams’ titles), it was also the first time since 1997 that Ducati won the riders’ and constructors’ championships in the WorldSSP.

Just as impressive, however, is that Ducati managed to secure the top 3 in the MotoGP final rankings for the first time in history with Pecco Bagnaia, Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi, and had an All-Ducati podium in no fewer than 7 Grand Prix. made (Argentina, Le Mans, Mugello, Sachsenring, Misano, Sepang and Qatar), with the top 4 in Mugello and Sepang and even the top 5 at the Sachsenring being in the hands of Ducati.

In the WorldSBK, Alvaro Bautista scored his second world title in a row and won a record number of 20 races (out of a total of 24), plus another 7 Superpole Spin races, while in the WorldSSP Nicole Bulega with no less than 16 victories (of which 6 times the double) was crowned world champion.

Never before in history has a brand so dominated road racing motorsport and to appropriately celebrate this, Ducati has now released five Limited Edition Panigale 2023 Replicas, the top 3 of the MotoGP (Bagnaia, Martin and Bezzecchi) plus the champion bikes of the WorldSBK (Bautista) and the WorldSSP (Bulega). The first four based on the Panigale V4 and the last – of course – based on the Panigale V2.

The five unique bicycles are painted in the official liveries as raced this year and of course equipped with a laser engraving in the upper triple clamp containing the model name and unique number, a dedicated start-up screen in the TFT display and a signature of the relevant driver on the the tank. That plus a saddle that is made of unique material and features the rider’s logo.

The Panigale V4 Bagnaia 2023 World Champion Replica is inspired by the most exclusive livery of the 2023 season, the Ducati Yellow with which the Desmosedici GP of the Ducati Lenovo Team rode the Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini in Misano. Production is limited to 263 units.

The Panigale V4 Bautista 2023 World Champion Replica features the Ducati yellow livery of the Panigale V4 R with which Álvaro rode the races in Misano and race 2 in Jerez de la Frontera. The color scheme is mainly inspired by the one with which Bautista became world champion for the second time in Jerez.

The Bautista replica also has, just like the Panigale V4 R from which it draws its inspiration, a brushed aluminum fuel tank, carbon fiber winglets and forged light gray Marchesini aluminum rims. Production is limited to 219 units.

The Panigale V4 Martín 2023 Racing Replica adopts the official colors of the Prima Pramac Team’s Desmosedici GP and is made all the more unique by the carbon fiber front mudguard. Production is limited to 189 units.

The Panigale V4 Bezzecchi 2023 Racing Replica is inspired by the yellow/black livery of the Mooney VR46 team’s Desmosedici GP. Production is limited to 72 units.

Finally, there is the Panigale V2 Bulega World Champion Replica, which is inspired by the red/black livery of the Panigale V2 of the Aruba.it Racing WorldSSP Team with which Nicolò Bulega won the world title. Production of this is limited to 111 units.

The four Panigale V4 2023 Replicas are based on the “S” model, which has been enhanced with quite a few parts from the Ducati Performance catalogue. The replicas are equipped with a nine-place STM-EVO SBK dry clutch and a homologated Acrapovic rear silencer that is 2 kilos lighter than the standard silencer, while the brakes have been upgraded with Brembo Stylema R brake calipers and a Brembo MCS brake pump.

Other modifications include Rizoma CNC machined footpegs, a racing version plexiglass windshield, and carbon fiber heat shields for the exhaust system, front and rear fenders and the front brake ducts. The swingarm is equipped with a cover that consists of a combination of carbon and titanium.

The Panigale V2 is further enhanced with Öhlins suspension and steering damper and Akrapovic rear dampers, which provide an increase of 2.5% power and 2% torque and, together with the lithium-ion battery, shave 5 kilos off the curb weight. Furthermore, the V2 is also covered with carbon fiber sauce.

Each of the replicas comes with a certificate of authenticity and will be delivered in a wooden crate with dedicated graphics and a matching motorcycle cover.
