Looking for a new factory location
Things are not going smoothly with the return of TVR with a brand new Griffith. Now a potential location for a factory has passed TVR’s nose.
The last time we had something to report about TVR was more than a year and a half ago. Then there was a capital injection for the British manufacturer, which should benefit not only the Griffith, but also electric models of which we have not yet seen. We probably won’t see any of that for a while, because there is no real momentum behind the plans at the moment.
This is evident from the fact that TVR had found a production location in Wales, but is now following suit Coach has lost his right. TVR would simply have waited too long to do anything with it and that is why the piece of land has now been made available again to other parties. According to the medium, TVR says it is looking for another location in Wales. We are curious whether it will ever happen. The Griffith was already shown in 2017.
