Spyshots Mini Aceman

At Mini, 2024 will of course be the year of the new electric Cooper, but also that of the brand new Countryman. Next year Mini will launch a more compact alternative to the Countryman. It will also be fully electric. On these spy plates we can show you that Mini Aceman better than ever.

Mini is innovating to the maximum. With the new Cooper, Mini introduced a brand new electric three-door hatchback and a brand new generation of the Countryman last year. The current three- and five-door versions of the Mini Hatchback and its Cabrio variant will go under the knife and will continue for a few years as a petrol alternative to the electric Cooper. There will not be an electric five-door hatchback version. Why not? Very simple: there will be an alternative called Mini Aceman.

The Mini Aceman will be a compact crossover that is quite a bit smaller than the Countryman. During its recent generation change, the Mini Countryman grew in length by a decidedly 12 centimeters. A larger Countryman makes room for a smaller model underneath. That will be the Mini Aceman. Unlike the Countryman, which is also available as an EV with petrol engines, the Aceman is only available on the market with electric powertrains. In mid-2022, Mini already looked ahead to that car with the Concept Aceman. The Mini Aceman will be 4.05 meters long. This makes it only a handful of centimeters longer than the five-door Mini Hatch.

Although Mini already previewed the Mini Aceman 1.5 years ago, it will still be a while before you can buy it. The market introduction of the Mini Aceman is not planned until 2025. The Aceman – which can already be seen quite clearly on this set of spy plates – will in any case be marketed as an E and as a sportier SE. The Aceman E has a 184 hp electric motor and a 40 kWh battery. The Mini Aceman SE is just a little more powerful in every respect with its 218 hp and 54 kWh battery pack.
