Volkswagen T-Cross facelift

Until now, the updated Volkswagen T-Cross could only be ordered with 95 and 115 hp 1.0 TSIs. AutoWeek can already tell you what the Volkswagen T-Cross with 150 hp 1.5 TSI should cost before Volkswagen itself makes it public.

In November last year, Volkswagen released the first prices for the facelifted T-Cross. The updated Volkswagen T-Cross was only put on the price list with a 95 hp 1.0 TSI and a 115 hp 1.0 TSI. The importer already indicated that the Volkswagen T-Cross would eventually also be available with a 150 hp 1.5 TSI. AutoWeek can be the first to tell you what the Volkswagen T-Cross with 150 hp should cost.

The Volkswagen T-Cross with 150 hp and 250 Nm strong 1.5 TSI is always equipped with a DSG automatic transmission with seven gears. Unlike the milder motorized variants, it is only available as an R-Line and R-Line Business. The T-Cross with 1.5 TSI costs €43,390 as an R-Line and changes hands as an R-Line Business from €43,990. With 1.5 TSI, the Volkswagen T-Cross accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds. Its top speed: 200 km/h. This makes it considerably faster than the T-Rocs with 95 hp and 115 hp 1.0.

As an R-Line, the T-Cross has, among other things, 18-inch alloys, sports comfort seats, R-Line interior trim, a 20.3-inch Ready to Discover infotainment system, six speakers and two-zone climate control. Also standard: parking sensors front and rear, tinted side windows, a tinted rear window, ambient lighting, Travel Assist, electrically adjustable, folding and heated exterior mirrors, chrome-colored roof rails and a center armrest. The R-Line Business adds LED matrix headlights (IQ Light), a more extensive multimedia system, an inductive charger, a larger and more extensive digital instrument cluster, heated front seats, an alarm and – yes – a trunk mat and luggage net. This version is mainly aimed at the business driver.
