With a touch of electric power
The DS 3 is also introduced to Stellantis’ mild-hybrid powertrains. The crossover is now also available with 136 hp of mild-hybrid petrol power. AutoWeek can report this after taking a look at the price list.
Like many other models from the many brands in the Stellantis portfolio, the DS 3 is introduced to mild-hybrid petrol engines. The DS 3 is and will of course remain available as an electric E-Tense and was also available with 100 hp and 130 hp 1.2 PureTech petrol engines. The 100 hp 1.2 PureTech with five-speed manual transmission remains. The 130 hp variant with automatic transmission also remains, but is now only available in Esprit de Voyage version. What comes with it: the 136 hp mild-hybrid powertrain with automatic transmission.
The DS 3 Hybrid 136 – as the new engine version is called – is available as Bastille from €38,390 and is also available as a Performance Line and as an Opéra. The last two cost successively €38,890 and €44,540. The DS 3 PureTech 130 with automatic transmission and therefore without mild-hybrid support is still on the menu as Esprit de Voyage and changes owners in that form from €43,090. Naturally, the DS 3 with 100 hp PureTech and manual transmission is the most affordable DS 3. It is available from €36,490. The electric DS 3 E-Tense is available in order books from €39,790 and is eligible for the SEPP subsidy of €2,950 regardless of the chosen version.
