Welcome Essential Line

The starting price of both the Mercedes-Benz EQA and the EQB drops by thousands of euros, but Mercedes-Benz is not making any price reduction. Instead, the brand is introducing a new entry-level version for the electric duo.
The electric Mercedes-Benz EQA and EQB can already be ordered in many versions. There are 250+, 300 4Matic and 350 4Matic engine versions and Business Line, Luxury Line and AMG Line versions. Until now, the 250+ in combination with the Business Line version was the entry-level model for both the EQA and the EQB. The EQA costs €52,546 in that configuration, the EQB €54,966. Due to the arrival of a new version, the Mercedes-Benz EQA and EQA are now thousands of euros less expensive.
How does that happen? Mercedes-Benz combines the powertrain of the electric duo with the new Essential Line version. The Mercedes-Benz EQA is available as a 250+ Essential Line from €48,190, the EQB 250+ Business Line changes hands from €50,610. This makes them both €4,356 cheaper than the Business Lines. Nothing else changes in the drivetrain, which means that the new entry-level cars also combine a 190 hp and 385 Nm electric motor with a 70.5 kWh battery pack. The EQA 250+ Essential Line squeezes out 557 kilometers, the EQB 250+ Business Line 530.
The difference lies in the equipment. The Essential Line offers 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels instead of multi-spoke wheels of the same diameter. In addition, the Essential Line must do without the Advanced Package (blind spot assistant, more extensive infotainment), Mirror Package (electrically folding exterior mirrors, automatically dimming interior mirror), which is standard on the Business Line. Also not present: a panoramic glass roof and safety systems such as the exit warning.
