Renault Symbioz (leaked)

The unveiling of the Renault Symbioz is planned for later this week, but unfortunately for the French, the brand new crossover has already made its first meters on the digital road network.

In February it became clear that Renault will soon be pulling the curtain on a new model: the Symbioz. The Renault Symbioz will make its debut facilitated by Renault itself on May 2, but thanks to Patentati.it we can now show you the car from all angles.

The Renault Symbioz is a 4.41 meter long crossover that, with its dimensions, fills the gap between the Captur and the Austral. The Symbioz is 10 centimeters shorter than the Austral, but a good 18 centimeters longer than the Captur. That Captur is important here. Up to the B-pillar, the Renault Symbioz is simply a Captur, but behind it almost everything is different. The roof continues further to the rear, the window line and therefore the rear doors are different from those of the Captur and the rear is even completely unique. Here we see more design influences from younger models such as the Rafale and the electric Scenic than with the updated Captur.

Renault no longer had a Clio station wagon for a while and the Mégane Estate is now quite old. The Symbioz therefore seems to be the model with which Renault is launching a new model for those who like the space of a station wagon. In any case, the Renault Symbioz will have a hybrid powertrain and there will be no electric version. Here too – not surprisingly – there are many similarities with the Captur.
