What more does a person need?

VinFast, which is also active in the Netherlands, pulled the curtain on VF3 in the middle of last year. The VinFast VF3 is a tiny electric adventurer that we can now tell you more about.
The Vietnamese VinFast has the VF8 and VF9 on the menu in the Netherlands and seems to still intend to market the VF6 and VF7 here as well. Last year, VinFast conjured up the VF3, a compact electric crossover with an appearance that is as angular as it is cuddly. Whether and when the VinFast VF3 will come to Europe is not yet known. We can now tell you more about what the VinFast VF3 has to offer.
VinFast itself describes the VF3 as an electric mini SUV. With its length of 3.19 meters, the VF3 is in any case quite on the short side. Its wheelbase is 2.08 meters. It is no less than half a meter shorter than a Dacia Spring. Despite its compact dimensions, the VinFast VF3 should easily accommodate four occupants. The rear seats are foldable. Anyone who does that must be able to carry 550 liters of stuff. That’s pretty decent.
The VinFast VF3 is not only subtle in size, it is also modestly motorized. The little adventurer is powered by a 44 hp and 110 Nm strong electric motor on the rear axle. For comparison: the front-wheel drive Dacia Spring also has 44 hp in basic form, but has an extra 25 Nm. The VinFast VF3 should be able to squeeze 205 to 210 kilometers from its 18.64 kWh battery. Please note: that is a NEDC value. The VF3 should be able to reach a speed of 100 km/h from a standstill in 19.3 seconds. Its top speed: 100 km/h, although according to the Vietnamese the VF3 can only maintain it for 1 minute and you can only reach 100 km/h if the battery capacity is 50 percent or more.
Then the price: the VinFast VF3 costs only €8,525 in Vietnam. If the VF3 comes to the Netherlands, it will undoubtedly cost more here. Again: nothing is known yet about coming to the Netherlands.
