RSI complaints can arise when you make the same movements for a long time. And especially when you do that with a body part in an unnatural position. That’s something that may happen if you spend a lot of time with one Magic Mouse or Magic TrackPad works. It can go well for a long time and of course it varies per person whether you will ever experience any problems at all.

The Logitech Lift for Mac does not prevent you from making the same movements for a long time, but it does ensure that you keep your arm in a more natural position. With a regular mouse you have to turn your arm slightly to the left to straighten your hand. This creates more muscle tension in your forearm and that is where RSI complaints often start.

Easy-to-use vertical mouse

The Logitech Lift for Mac ensures that you rest the right side of your hand on the desk. The buttons and scroll wheel have been moved and are therefore still located under your index and middle fingers. This makes use very intuitive despite the unusual position. Getting used to it is therefore very quick. The Lift for Mac is only intended for small to medium-sized hands. Unfortunately, there is no version for large hands.

Connecting via Bluetooth is quick and easy. Almost everything works immediately: both buttons, the scroll wheel and the previous/next buttons. Simply clicking with the scroll wheel does nothing by default. If you want to assign a function to it, then you have the app Logitech Options+ necessary. This also allows you to change the function of the small button below the scroll wheel. By default, you adjust the pointer speed with this.

You can also immediately see the battery percentage in the app. According to Logitech, the battery (1x AA) lasts up to 24 months, so it is useful that you can occasionally check the status during that time. To save battery power, you can also easily turn off the mouse with the switch at the bottom.

Multiple computers

You can connect up to three different Macs with the Logitech Lift for Mac. You can then easily switch between the three computers with the Easy-Switch at the bottom. A very useful function, provided you need it of course.

With the Logi Flow function you can operate multiple computers at the same time. Move the cursor to the edge of the screen to switch to another computer. Do you want to use texts, images or files from one computer on another? Just copy them on one device and paste them on the other. This is also very practical if you need it.
