Salary Tim Cook

But how much does Tim Cook actually earn and what is his exact salary? In 2024, Tim Cook earned $74.6 million. That is approximately 73 million euros. In 2023, that was ‘only’ 63.2 million dollars (the equivalent of 62 million euros).

Of his salary, $58 million is in stock, $12 million in performance awards and $3 million in base salary. He will also receive $1.5 million for other expenses such as flight trips. Tim Cook is required by Apple to use a private plane for business and private travel.

Even though Tim Cook made more in 2024 than he did in 2023, the salary was still a lot less than what he got in 2022. That year he received $99 million. But because he was close to $100 million, Tim Cook and the board of directors decided to reduce the total amount.

By the way, other Apple executives (think Luca Maestri, Kate Adams, Deirdre O’Brien and Jeff Willans) earn around $27.2 million a year.

Tim Cook will stay for a while

In an interview with the New York Times in 2021, Tim Cook indicated that he probably won’t stay at Apple for another ten years. He did make a comment and said that for the time being ‘there was no end date in sight’. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Tim Cook will retire sometime between 2025 and 2028.
