CFMoto comes with completely new 700mt for 2025

CFMoto has completely renewed the 700MT for model year 2025, with the Middenklasse Allroad giving the design of its bigger brother, the 800mt. However, the best asset is undoubtedly its very competitive price of € 8,499, with which the Chinese have thrown the bat in the hen house.

CFMoto comes with completely new 700mt for 2025

When CFMoto launched the 700mT in 2023 as the successor to the 650MT, that surprised us at all. After the launch of the 700CL-X, the first model with a completely newly developed 693cc Paralleltwin, you could have felt on your clogs that CF would also use that new block in other models. Would turn it into a 700 platform.

The 700MT was the successor of the 650MT, a ‘Allroad’, who is also entirely developed in -house, which had a technically damn many similarities with the Versys 650. Somewhere logical, because if you take another engine as an example, then you don’t just grab the first, but something that is already good and sells well.

Not only was the 700mT derived from the 650MT in technical terms, the new 700 also had similar style elements in terms of design. In a large line the same as the 650, but then refreshed. We honestly did not expect that the Chinese after just two years present a completely new styled 700mt, although it makes sense somewhere. The design taken over from the 800mt gives the engine a much more adventurous look.

The more adventurous approach is already underlined by the wheels, where the 17 “cast wheels have cleared the field for more off -road -oriented spoke wheels in sizes 19” in the front and 17 “behind with ‘allroad’ tires in sizes 110/80 R 19 19 At the front of 150/70 R 17 is also made more robust, with a 43 mm kyb upside down the front fork.

What else do we know? The 2025 700MT has a wheelbase of 1,445 mm, the seat height is 800 mm as standard and can optionally be raised to 840 mm and between the legs is a 20 liter tank, which gives the engine a considerable range. The 693 cc 180 ° parallel win is specified for a top power of 50 kW, that is 68 hp, at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 60 Nm at 6,000 rpm, of which 90% is already available at 4,000 rpm.

The 700MT also has LED lighting all around and a 5-inch TFT color display, and is equipped with the so-called T-Box as standard, which offers extra connectivity functions such as GPS tracking. Available in two colors: Nebula Black and Nebula White, for the competitive price of € 8,499 (€ 7,499 BE) including a 5 -year warranty.
