Review Neuecast: Listen to Podcasts

For those who like to listen to podcasts, the new Neuecast app is worth trying. The maker has opted for an extremely minimalist user environment, in which the broadcasts themselves must be central.

The first time you start the app, you can select multiple podcasts from an overview screen. This is not mandatory. Because the overview alone thumbnails contains the podcasts and no further explanation, it is difficult to choose if you don’t know the podcasts yet. The app consists of a number of tabs. The tab New Contains a well -arranged list of podcasts for which you have registered and for which a new episode is available. The results are shown in a timeline. Via De Zijnab you can logically look for specific podcasts, but you also get an overview of featured podcasts, arranged per subject (such as technology and daily news). Neuecast also shows a top 100 of podcasts based on your location.

You can adjust the appearance of the app to a limited extent, but more interesting is the possibility of the interface From the audio player to further adjust, for example by indicating how many seconds you want to rinse as standard front or backwards. You can also swipeAdjusting actions, with which you quickly indicate that you have already listened to an episode.
