Cleaning airpods

Once you have all the necessities, you can clean the AirPods using the steps below.

  • At the AirPods Pro, pull firmly with your fingers at the base of the ear cushion, where the ear cushion is attached.
  • Pour a small amount of micellar water into a cup.
  • Dip the toothbrush in the head with micellar water until the brush hairs are completely saturated.
  • Hold your AirPod with the mesh facing up.
  • Brush the mesh in circles for 15 seconds.
  • Turn your AirPod and pat it on a paper cloth. Make sure the paper cloth makes contact with the mesh.
  • Repeat the steps 2 to 5 twice (three times in total) for each mesh that you want to clean.
  • To rinse the micellar water, rinse the brush with distilled water and then repeat the steps 1 to 5 with distilled water for each mesh that you have cleaned.
  • Let your AirPods dry completely, at least two hours, before you place or use them in the charging case.

Clean housing and AirPods charging case

If your airpods (pro) or charging case are exposed to a substance that can cause stains or other damage. Think of soap, shampoo, conditioner, perfume, solvents, detergents, acids or acid -rich foods, products against insects, sunscreen, oil or hair dye. Follow the steps below to clean the housing.

  1. Then clean them with a cloth that is lightly moistened with water and dry them with a soft, dry, fluff -free cloth.
  2. Let them dry completely, at least two hours, before you place or use them in the charging case.

You can clean the charging case with a soft, dry, fluff -free cloth. If necessary, you can moisten the cloth a bit with isopropyl alcohol. Let the charging case dry. Make sure that no liquid ends up in the charging gates. You remove dirt in the charging gate with a clean, dry, soft brush.

Do not keep your AirPods or charging case under water and do not use sharp objects or abrasive materials to clean your AirPods.
