Since HCC and PC-Active Privacy believe, you can read here an article about the court case against Tinder of Take Back Your Privacy (TBYP). This is a call to address Tinder en masse and to join the claim. That is free, without risk and if the judge assigns compensation, people who have registered communicate. You will also find the registration form in this article.

On Dec. 16, the summons was released by TBYP against MTCH Ireland and Match Group (which includes Tinder). On March 26, the time was and the case was applied to the court and with that the case is officially started.

Take Back Your Privacy Foundation (TBYP) has started a lawsuit against Tinder. Recently, Tinder has been in the news several times when it comes to privacy violation. To match app users as well as possible, Tinder collects a huge amount of sensitive information: name, gender, age, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, political beliefs, …
But what users do not know is that Tinder shares this data behind their backs with advertisers, among others. Private conversations are read and locations are tracked.
In addition to unlawful (violation of privacy legislation) and unethical (sensitive data), in the eyes of TBYP, Tinder also acts dangerous (risk of data breaches) and misleading (use of vague and complicated conditions). Think of situations where soldiers or politicians can be found/followed, but also of people who have not (yet) come out of the closet: it is not up to Tinder to share those dating preferences and other sensitive information with third parties, followed by the risk of data breaches.

Privacy is a great good not to protect. We therefore want to call everyone to help us to talk to Tinder en masse and to join the claim. That is free and without risk and if the judge assigns compensation, people who have registered communicate.
