The WOX R4208 is a small, black security camera with a flexible base, with which you can easily focus the camera on the area to be monitored. Screws are supplied for ceiling mounting. You connect the camera via USB-C with the supplied 5V adapter and 1 meter cable. The installation is easy via the WOX app. Integration with Google Home and Amazon Alexa is possible, so you can view live images via the Google Nest Hub or Echo Show. Recordings can be stored on an SD card (max. 128 GB) or in the cloud (for a fee).
The F2.0 lens has a viewing angle of 82 ° horizontal, good for indoors without distortion. The lens, in combination with a maximum image resolution of 2304 x 1296 pixels at 20 fps, delivers clear images, although the sturdy compression reduces sharpness. The automatic night view has an IR range of up to 5 meters. The TweeWweg audio, with built-in microphone and speaker, offers reasonable sound quality. The camera supports Wi-Fi 3 and requires a good signal. Detection is intelligent via movement and/or sound, after which the recordings appear below Playback. You can also manually snapshots and make videos that in the Gallery are stored. Sharing these images goes smoothly through the usual methods.
