Quirky Fisker says it will have a total of four all-electric models in its lineup by 2025. The company already gives a rough indication of what we can expect.
At the beginning of this year, Fisker pushed the Ocean forward with great fanfare, a fully electric SUV that was recently announced to potentially use the Volkswagen Group’s modular MEB platform. During the presentation, Fisker indicated that it wants to sell no less than 1 million cars between 2022 and 2027, a large number for a small manufacturer. To this end, the brand will not only set up a new production facility in the United States, but in the long term also in China and in Europe. Fisker now gives a rough indication of the models with which it will come in the coming years.
Fisker aims to have a model range consisting of four cars by 2025, all EVs. One is the aforementioned Ocean, but there is more to it. For example, the brand will eventually release a production version of the EMotion Concept, which was presented at the beginning of 2018.
It does not stop there, of course. This is how Fisker comes up with what it calls a sporty crossover. An accompanying image shows the side view of that car, a Coupé SUV with a steeply sloping roofline and voluptuous lines. In addition, Fisker wants to tackle manufacturers such as Tesla and Rivian with a fully electric pick-up, a car that can also be seen from the side in the above image. Fisker is in talks with Volkswagen about the use of the MEB platform for his Ocean. It is not inconceivable that the other newcomers of Fisker are also Volkswagen-based.
