With Unified Remote you can use your phone as a remote control.

With Unified Remote you can use your phone as a remote control. The app comes from two programmers from Sweden and is intended to operate programs on the computer over the phone.
On the website of the makers you will find an overview of the ‘remote controls’ that are supported. There is a separate search section with which you can look for a service that you would like to control remotely. For example, we find streaming services such as Disney+ and Netflix, but also for browsers. The app is available in a free variant, with which you can use a limited set of services.
With the paid variant you have access to a broader support to services. The app only works as standard if all devices are on the same (internal) network. If you are more advanced, you can also allow the phone to use a mobile data connection.
If you are a programmer yourself and you miss a certain service, you can add support for new services yourself. The makers have placed the required instructions for this on the website.
