How can damaged steel bridges be repaired?

If a steel bridge is damaged, it does not necessarily collapse completely. Instead, it depends on the location of the damage and the reaction of the remaining components, as researchers have determined. If certain steel beams are twisted and bent after the damage, the increased load can be on the remaining components
