And that is not necessary. During our tests, the ZX-4RR turned out to be a real funbike pur sang. The four -cylinder block passes through well above 10,000 rpm and treats you to an adrenalinekick that you normally only expect with larger super bikes.
In addition, the bicycle part is razor -sharp and the electronics complete: multiple driving modes, Quickshifter with blinkper and traction control, it just as well suited for a day of popping on the circuit as for a sturdy ride on the street.
The new colors mainly add character. Lime Green is and remains the ninja signature, while the dark metallic matte/graphenesteel/spark black gives a more mature and stealthy look.
Who is this ZX-4RR for? Simple: young sporty riders who are looking for a thoroughbred super sports feeling without immediately grabbing a literbike, and experienced circuit enthusiasts who want a compact, lightweight machine that sends raw, sharp and addictive. Thanks to the compact size, high speed and the complete electronics, it feels both on the street and on the circuit as a serious racing bike in a small jacket.
In short: the ZX-4RR 2026 remains the same brutal and addictive machine as we tested, but now with a lick of paint that gives it just a little more personality. Or as we said it during our test drives: “The ZX-4RR again proves that Fun is not always in CCs, but in touring and experience.”
