The better camping feeling: that is what Karmann-Mobil wants to achieve with the introduction of the new bus camper Davis ‘View’. The models have the same layout as the existing Davis models, but now with a fold-out roof that houses an extra bed of 180 x 120 cm. With an unobstructed view from a height of 2.7 meters!
You enter the bed on the roof with a ladder from the inside through a roof hatch. Karmann-Mobil therefore does not opt ​​for a completely ‘open roof’, and that benefits the stiffness of the body. In addition, there is virtually no chance of rust formation and leakage, because there are no gaps. The standing height (197 cm) is also maintained throughout the vehicle thanks to this construction. The new View is available as 540, 620 or 630.
The new Davis 630 will be especially popular with enthusiasts who want to combine their bus camper with a (different) hobby, such as motorcycling, mountain biking or paragliding. In the rear, the Davis 630 has a double bed (192 x 190 / 180cm), which is raised with the push of a button. This creates a loading space of 180 x 120 x 130 cm. This cargo area is fitted as standard with metal floor parts, lashing eyes and a ramp (motorcycle, scooter).
The front of this sporty Davis is the same as the Davis 620. There are four sleeping places on board. Not on vacation? Then this Davis is also very suitable for picking up a refrigerator or even carrying out a modest move.
