The Terminal List: Dark Wolf is a prequel series on Prime Video that explores the past of Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch), beginning in 2015 in Iraq where he is fired as a Navy SEAL after an impulsive execution of an enemy and loses his rank, along with his comrade Raife Hastings (Tom Hopper). During a stopover in Europe, they are recruited by CIA spymaster Jed Haverford (Robert Wisdom) for a clandestine operation against Iranian threats, Iraqi terrorists and dubious bearing deals, which entangles them in a web of betrayal, assassinations and conspiracies involving hackers, bombs and battles in cities such as Zurich and Munich. The series depicts Edwards’ dark transformation into a paramilitary CIA operative, full of moral shades, brutal action and revelations about loyalty that lead to the events of the original The Terminal List.

IT: Welcome to Derry is a horror series on HBO Max and a prequel to Stephen King’s It films, set in 1962 in the evil-influenced town of Derry, Maine, where a family arrives just as a boy disappears and strange, violent events strike. The plot follows children and adults such as Ronnie, Lilly, Will and Leroy as they deal with disappearances, visions, military experiments surrounding a terrifying ‘weapon’ (Pennywise) and racist tensions, culminating in confrontations with the supernatural entity that is corrupting the city through murders, mobs and native legends. The series explores Derry’s dark origins with cycles of fear, flashbacks to the 1920s and themes of race, war and inevitable horror before the Losers’ Club emerges.
