Aston Martin Vantage Roadster
It only takes 6.7 seconds to open the roof of the new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster. The new model therefore has the fastest opening electrically operated convertible roof in the world.
2 years after the Vantage Coupé, Aston Martin presents the Vantage Roadster. The new cabriolet has a fabric cover that opens in just 6.7 seconds and closes again in about the same time. This is also possible while driving, up to a speed of 50 km / h. With the roof open, 200 liters of luggage space remains, according to Aston Martin enough for a golf bag and some loose items.
The Roadster has the same 4.0 V8 engine as the Coupé. The 510 hp eight-cylinder engine is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. The Vantage Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 4 seconds. The top speed of 305 km / h can only be achieved with the roof closed.
The Vantage Roadster comes to the Netherlands in the second half of the year. The prices of the new convertible are not yet known.
