The new Porsche 911 GT3 is being prepared for its market debut, but before that, a test with its predecessor (s) will follow.
The unveiling of the GT3 version of the current Porsche 911 is almost no more than a formality, because the extra sporty 911 has already been regularly spotted in camouflaged. Even now, the camouflage department has made little effort to hide details. Not bad of course, because it allows us to take a good look at the car again. The distinguishing elements of the wider-wheeled GT3 are clear: the two openings in the front lid, two centrally placed tailpipes in a solidly padded rear bumper and, as icing on the cake, the McLaren Senna-like rear wing.
Before Porsche is really ready to present the car to the general public, it is allowed to go out with its predecessor in its homeland. Our spy photographer found two important indicators for the new GT3 in the wake of the prototype: the previous GT3 and the previous GT3 RS. The allegedly 520 hp strong boxer engine has to perform just a little better in the brand new GT3, so a comparison with the outgoing GT3s is useful. By the way, there is a good chance that the 991 GT3 RS is especially there for a comparison with the new GT3 RS. After all, it was recently spotted again (in a similar setting).
