New Hyundai i20 now also as N-Line

The Hyundai i20 is still very fresh, but the brand is already expanding the range of delivery of the compact hatchback with a new variant. This sporty i20 N-Line will be at the dealers from the spring of next year!

Do you want a sporty decorated Hyundai, but you don’t need a hot powertrain right away? Then the N-Line versions might be interesting. The i20 is now also available as N-Line, which looks a lot thicker than its braver brothers and sisters.

The i20 N-Line has its own muzzle complete with a checkered black grille with the pattern of a finish flag. An N-Line emblem is of course not missing. Lower on the nose, the i20 N-Line has a bumper with black accents with a gray black stripe at the bottom. It is also just a bit tougher at the rear. In the center of the sporty lined rear bumper we see a deep-angled rear fog light and dual exhaust pipes on the right. Also, the alloy wheels that you see in these photos are specifically designed for the i20 N-Line. It is available in four colors: Phantom Black, Aurora Gray, Polar White and Brass. If you order the i20 N-Line in Polar White, you can also optionally be equipped with a black roof. In the interior, Hyundai installs sports seats with N logos and red stitching. We also see a special steering wheel, aluminum pedals and a leather-finished N-shift knob with red details.

The i20 N-Line is not purely and only reserved for the currently strongest i20 with 100 hp 1.0 T-GDI. The milder motorized naturally aspirated 1.2 with 84 hp is also available as N-Line. This engine version has a manual five-speed gearbox. The 1.0 T-GDI, which is equipped with mild-hybrid technology, has the manual iMT six-speed gearbox on board as standard, which disengages as soon as the driver releases the accelerator. The 1.0 is optionally available with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Prices will follow in the run-up to the market launch. Does this sporty dressed i20 N-Line taste for more? Then have a little more patience. In time, Hyundai will come with a full N version of the i20!
