Riviera (season 3)

On October 23, Videoland will release the third season of Riviera. This British crime series revolves around Georgina Clios who, like controversial art dealers, goes in search of stolen works of art. Earlier she lost her wealthy husband in a yacht explosion. Since then, as a widow, she has been trying to follow the trail of her late partner Constantine. Within the shadowy art world she is faced with all kinds of surprises in which violence and deceit are central. Will Georgina manage to protect herself and other family members from her enemies? Little is known about the exact content of the third season. In any case, the trailer promises the necessary excitement and action with beautiful images from Venice.

Killing Eve (season 3)

In Killing Eve, two power women chase each other. Eve Polastri works for the British security service, while Villanelle is a wealthy hitman from Russia. The lives of both ladies constantly intersect each other in this series. The question is whether Villanelle actually manages to kill Eve, as the title of this blood-curdling series suggests. The third season again consists of eight episodes and will be released on Videoland on October 26. In the first episode, Villanelle finds out that Eve is still alive after the violent end in season 2. So the cat and mouse game starts all over again!

Dear Mama (season 1)

From October 15, the new series Lieve Mama can be seen exclusively at Videoland. The story is based on the bestseller of the same name by Esther Verhoef. Nurse Helen and catering entrepreneur Werner are a married couple with three children and have their affairs in order. As soon as eighteen-year-old Ralf decides to raid the family’s luxury villa with a friend, the lives of Helen, Werner and their children are turned upside down. For Helen, the incident (with fatal outcome) turns into a downright nightmare. Rifka Lodeizen, Shahine El Hamus, Guy Clemens, Bianca Krijgsman and Barry Atsma, among others, are part of this thriller series. On the Instagram channel The first images of Videoland have now been released.

Hillary

This four-part series offers a unique insight into the turbulent life of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Documentary filmmaker Nanette Burstein did not happen overnight. She interviewed Hillary for no less than seven days. Whether that is not enough, Hillary’s husband Bill Clinton, friends, former classmates and (former) colleagues also have their say. The series also contains unique youth images. Sensitive topics such as the Monica Lewinsky scandal and the failed presidential campaign in 2016 are not shunned in this docuseries. Hillary can be seen at Videoland from 6 October.

Liar (season 1)

As soon as teacher Laura Neilson and surgeon Andrew Earlham go on a date, the two main characters face each other afterwards. Andrew is under the impression the two had a good night, but Laura clearly thinks very differently. In fact, the teacher reports rape to the police. The accusations fly back and forth and other people in the relational sphere also get involved in the conflict. Who is right? This series includes six episodes that can be seen on Videoland from October 9.

Well-known (Christmas) titles

There is certainly no shortage of cozy Christmas films on Videoland from October. Enjoy A Christmas in Tennesee, Christmas Wonderland and Office Christmas Party, among others. A number of classics will also be released, such as London Has Fallen, Schlindler’s List and The Silence Of The Lambs.
