Jaguar carried out a facelift on the XF in early October. In particular, the interior was thoroughly overhauled, but there was also news on the motor level. Jaguar charges a starting price of € 60,950 for the XF with the brand new 204 hp mild-hybrid diesel engine. This concerns the S-trim sedan with rear-wheel drive. Prefer the XF Sportbrake with this new diesel machine? Then count on a starting price of € 65,500. The D200, like all other engine versions with which the XF becomes available, is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The D200 is also available in combination with four-wheel drive. For the XF Sedan and XF Sportbrake, count on starting prices of € 66,100 and € 70,700 respectively. The XF with D200 diesel engine is by far the cheapest XF that Jaguar has on the price list. The 5-series competitor from Jaguar is also available with a P250 costing at least € 69,000 and a P300 costing at least € 79,600.
The D200 is a 204 hp, 430 Nm strong 2.0 four-cylinder paired with a 48v mild hybrid system. The XF Sedan with rear-wheel drive sprints with this machine to a speed of 100 km / h in 7.6 seconds and has a top speed of 235 km / h. The XF Sedan D200 with all-wheel drive takes 7.8 counts for the 0-100 sprint and has a top speed of 230 km / h. The XF Sportbrake D200 with rear-wheel drive, with a sprint time of 7.8 counts, is slightly less smooth than its sedan brother. This also applies to the four-wheel drive version, which takes 8 counts the same job. The average consumption of the XF D200 is 4.9-6.2 l / 100 km, making it about 15 percent more efficient than the 180 hp diesel engine it replaces.
