BMW is now adding the iX3 to its delivery range, the fully electric version that gets its own model name and for which the Dutch prices are now known.
The starting price of the electric BMW iX3 is € 67,500. That price applies to the BMW iX3 Executive. The only other version in which BMW supplies the iX3 is called High Executive and is logically more spacious in its stuff. The price of the BMW iX3 High Executive is € 73,500.
Technic
Which version you choose does not affect the technical aspect of the iX3. In all cases, the electric SUV has a 286 hp and 400 Nm strong electric motor on the rear axle. Indeed, the BMW iX3 has always been rear-wheel drive. With that electric powertrain, the iX3 sprints to a speed of 100 km / h in 6.8 seconds. In comparison: the BMW X3 xDrive30i, which is equipped with a 252 hp and 350 Nm strong electric motor, does that job in 6.4 seconds. The top speed of the BMW iX3 is 180 km / h.

Range
Those sprint figures are of course fine, but more interesting is the electric range. The BMW iX3 has an 80 kWh battery pack in its bottom, of which 74 kWh is actually usable. According to the WLTP cycle, the iX3 must be able to achieve an electric range of 459 kilometers. A fine one range.
The battery pack can be charged with a charging capacity of up to 150 kW. According to BMW, the package can be charged from 0 to 80 percent capacity in 34 minutes. As a driver you can influence the way in which the iX3 recovers energy. In driving mode B you accelerate and brake with just one pedal. In driving mode D, the intensity in which the car recovers energy when the accelerator pedal is released can also be set.

Then the burning question: what do you get for your coins? The BMW iX3 comes as Executive as standard with 19-inch light alloy, an adaptive suspension, a panoramic roof, fabric / leatherette upholstery, electrically adjustable and heated shaped seats and three-zone separate climate control. LED headlamps are like an extensive digital instrumentation. The High Executive version adds, among other things, artificial driving noises.
