Seat Leon e-Hybrid

Seat presents its first plug-in hybrid model: the Leon (Sportstourer) e-Hybrid. This allows you to drive fully electrically for up to 64 km.

In addition to the petrol and diesel versions, the new Seat Leon is now also available as a plug-in hybrid. It is the first electrified model of the Spanish brand. Within a year, five other (semi-) electric Seat models will follow.

The plug hybrid powertrain has 204 horsepower system power. The torque is 350 Nm. When using both the 1.4 TSI turbo petrol engine and the electric motor, the range is 800 km. As a driver, you are in control when you drive electrically or when on petrol, but you can also leave it to the system itself. The maximum speed for electric driving is 140 km / h.

The 13 kWh battery pack, consisting of lithium-ion batteries, can be fully charged in 3 hours and 40 minutes on a 3.6 kW wallbox. A 6-speed DSG automatic transmission completes the powertrain. This transmission is not mechanically linked, but uses electronic signals (‘shift-by-wire’) to shift up and down. In the most economical driving style, the WLTP test measured a fuel consumption of 1.1 to 1.3 l / 100 km.

You buy the Leon 1.4 TSI e-Hybrid FR PHEV DSG-6 from 37,550 euros. The addition for business drivers starts at 251 euros per month. For the Sportstourer estate car, the recommended retail price is from 38,750 euros, the addition from 259 euros per month.
