Renault summarizes in a few sentences which newcomers it brings to the Geneva Motor Show. Among those debutants is a new study model, the Morphoz.
In January, Techzle reader Almar Nijsen welcomed us with two images of a hitherto unknown Renault concept car. The study model was caught in Barcelona, Spain. We already suspected that the French would choose the Geneva Motor Show as a stage to present that car. Those suspicions are confirmed today.
Renault reports that a fully electric study model brings to Geneva: the Morphoz. According to Renault, the concept car embodies the brand’s vision of ‘the mobility of the future’. In addition, the car serves as a harbinger of “[…] a new family of Renault electric models that will be rolled out in the coming years “. Renault is already sending a teaser image which apparently shows a piece of the buttock part of the show car.
The Morphoz is not the only news from Groupe Renault. For example, the brand takes a fully electric version of the Twingo, the Twingo Z.E., to the Swiss stock exchange and the E-tech’s brand newcomers are also highlighted. Expect at least more information about the plug-in hybrid Mégane. It was recently announced that Dacia would be adding an electric city car to its portfolio in the short term and Renault is now reporting that Dacia is showing a prelude to that newcomer in Geneva.
