Stellantis, the brand new concern that emerged from PSA and FCA, announces that Peugeot and Alfa Romeo will both have different CEOs. They both come from Groupe PSA.
Peugeot says goodbye to Jean-Philippe Imparato as CEO. The 54-year-old Frenchman has been at the helm of Peugeot since 2016. Anyone who thinks that Imparato will slow down is wrong. He is leaving for Alfa Romeo, which has recently become a colleague of Peugeot. Imparato is tasked with strengthening Alfa Romeo in the coming years. The Italian brand currently only has the Giulia and Stelvio in its range, but fortunately, the Tonale and its little brother ‘Brennero’ will be supplemented. Imparato succeeds American Timothy Kuniskis, who in 2018, in addition to Dodge, also took Alfa Romeo under his wing.
In turn Imparato will be succeeded at Peugeot by Linda Jackson. A well-known name in the car industry and at PSA, because Jackson was after all the CEO of Citroën from 2014 to 2020. Now the 61-year-old British top woman can lead the sister brand. At the end of 2019, it was announced that Jackson would focus on other things within PSA, but now she returns to head one of the brands. Jackson’s position at Citroën was taken over last year by Vincent Cobée, former Mitsubishi production head.
