The American Roush Performance is best known for the uniquely modified Ford Mustang and F-150, but the company also has a fondness for the Super Duty models of Ford’s pick-up family. The tuner presents the Roush Super Duty, a pickup truck-based executioner based on the Ford F-250 and F-350.
Ford presented revised versions of its Super Duty pickups to American consumers in mid-2019. Roush Performance has now poured its own sauce over that robust big brother of the F-150. In principle, the F-250 and F-350 do not only share their body and body variants, they are even available with the same engines. The big difference is in the loading and towing capacity. The F-350 is quite simply more of a workhorse than the F-250, thanks in part to a reinforced chassis and an even stiffer suspension, complete with the option for dual wheels at the rear.
As mentioned, the Roush Super Duty is based on the F-250 and F-350 and that means that you can have both variants handled by the company, as long as you have opted for the diesel power source. Yes, the F-250 and F-350 are not only available with a 6.2 V8 petrol engine, but also with a powerful 6.7-liter diesel V8 that generates 440 hp and 1,254 (!) Nm of torque. Roush gives the Super Duty’s a completely individual front that not only dissociates itself from the models that Ford delivers with a huge ‘Roush grille’, but also with other lighting. Roush Performance hangs a new exhaust system under the Super Duty, puts the pickup on 20-inch alloy with folded 35-inch off-road rubber, and gives the cars more powerful braking. The undercarriage is also adjusted so that the workhorses stand higher on their feet.
The Roush upgrade costs a minimum of $ 14,900, which is equivalent to € 12,385.
