The Mokka was the first Opel on which the brand poured out its new design language. Meanwhile, the Crossland also has a Mocha-like muzzle and the Opel Grandland X will soon be given the new family face. That renewed Opel Grandland X has now been caught in public for the first time.
Opel’s new design language includes a number of distinctive elements, although the Opel Vizor is perhaps the most striking. We already know the Opel Vizor from the Mokka and in fact sits right at the front of the car. It concerns the relatively flat-looking, dark panel in which the headlights and the brand logo are housed. The Crossland X, renewed in 2020, which lost its ‘X’ during his side-point session, is in a way already showing something Vizor-like. Big brother Opel Grandland X will soon also be under the knife and based on these spy photos, that SUV will also get a new nose.
Opel Mokka
Of course, the ‘Opel Vizor’ on the Grandland X, which will soon have no ‘X’ in its name, just like the Mokka and Crossland, will be less pronounced than on the Mokka. After all, it remains a facelift. In any case, you can count on revised headlights, new bumpers at both the front and rear and a significantly flatter grille between the headlights. Undoubtedly, Opel is also making some changes in the interior, although you should not count on very heavy changes here. We do not expect any major changes on a technical level. In any case, count on the return of the 130 hp 1.2 Turbo and the 224 hp Hybrid and the 300 hp Hybrid4 will again be on the price list of Opel’s SUV.
Opel Crossland
Since the Dutch market introduction of the Grandland X in 2017, 11,385 units have been sold in our country. In 2019, the car had its Dutch peak year, when 4,553 were sold.
