Volvo is implementing a model year update on the entire 90 series. The S90 and V90 get the Android infotainment system that recently also appeared in the XC60. In addition, the XC90 gets a mild hybrid powertrain.
The Volvo XC60 benefited earlier in March from the arrival of a new infotainment system, an Android-powered system, which is now also making its way to the S90 and V90. It is part of the standard equipment of the two models of the 90 series. The S90 and V90 also receive two new safety systems: Ready to Drive Notification and Emergency Stop Assist. The first informs the driver with signals when the vehicle in front is about to move. Emergency Stop Assist is able to bring the car to a stop if the driver no longer reacts.
But there is more to report. The sedan and station wagon get a version called Inscription Exclusive. This Inscription-based variant adds nappa leather upholstery, seats with ventilation and massage functions, full LED headlamps, a comprehensive Harman Kardon audio system, 360-degree cameras, Side Park Assist and Advanced Air Cleaner, among other things. already fairly rich trim level. The XC90 from model year 2022 costs a minimum of € 85,995. In that case you also get the B5 motorization.
