Subaru Forester Sport puts a different emphasis

Subaru is adding a new version to the order list of the Forester. The Forester Sport has a slightly different look than we are used to.

The Subaru Forester is above all a car with which you can go wild on poorer terrain without pretensions. The Forester Sport puts an end to the latter, because that version is mainly about appearance. The Sport exchanges various chrome and silver accents for black ones: this is the case with the 18-inch wheels, grille surround, the window moldings, the skid plates and the inserts in the sills. We also see all around that the black plastic is accompanied by orange accents. The supports of the roof carriers are also made in that color. Striking detail, unlike the other versions, the Sport has side mirrors painted in body color.

In the interior of the Forester Sport you will find the orange color again. The frame of the selector lever for the central heating system and the ventilation grilles are now orange. The stitching of the upholstery on the seats, door panels and dashboard are also orange. Even more ‘silver’ disappears from the Forester in the interior, because the pedals are black instead of the shiny aluminum standard ones. Incidentally, there is a choice of different base colors for the body, all accompanied by the orange and black accents. For example, you can get the Forester Sport in Dark Blue Pearl, the featured Crystal White Pearl, Crystal Black Silica, Magnetite Gray Metallic, Ice Silver Metallic and Sepia Bronze Metallic.

Technically nothing changes and that means that there is a 150 hp mild hybrid four-cylinder boxer engine in the nose. Subaru charges at least € 60,995 for the Forester Sport. This makes it just as expensive as the current top version, the Premium, with which it also largely shares its equipment.
