Netflix makes a slew of new series and films available every day. On iPhone we look ahead every month at the new offer with the best tips. These are often new series and films, but also old favorites that appear on Netflix.

1. The Umbrella Academy (season 2)

Were you surprised by The Umbrella Academy last year? Then we have good news, because the second season can be seen this month! After the explosive events at the end of the first season, the siblings are thrown through time. How do they get back together to stop the apocalypse?

2. Cursed (season 1)

Cursed tells the story of the legend of King Arthur in a completely new way. Katherine Langford plays Nimue, a gifted teenage girl. After her mother dies, she sets out with Arthur to find Merlin and give him a mighty sword.

3. Unsolved Mysteries (Season 1 Part 1)

The first six episodes of Unsolved Mysteries can now be seen. This series looks at stories of normal people who have experienced the unthinkable. From people who have disappeared, to contact with the paranormal. What is behind these mysteries?

Available on Netflix from 1 July.

4. Warrior Nun (season 1)

In Warrior Nun, a young woman wakes up in a morgue. There it soon turns out that she is part of an old order that has to fight demons on earth. While the forces of heaven and hell want to control her, she must fight to protect the earth.

Airing on Netflix from 2 July.

5. Down to Earth with Zac Efron

Actor Zac Efron presents his own travel show for Netflix. In it he goes to the farthest corners of the earth to find out how we can live in a healthy and sustainable way.

The new war movie with Tom Hanks can be watched exclusively on Apple TV Plus. Hanks plays Captain Ernest Krause, who leads a fleet of ships to supply soldiers and resources to the Allies.

  • Greatness Code – 10th of July

Greatness Code is a documentary series from Apple about various athletes, such as LeBron James, Tom Brady, Usain Bolt, Katie Ledecky and Shaun White.

Disney Plus update

Watch Disney Plus this month include the much-discussed musical Hamilton, and Beyoncé’s Black is King.
