New on Netflix: November 2020

Netflix makes a slew of new series and films available every day. On iPhone we look ahead every month at the new offer with the best tips. These are often new series and films, but also old favorites that appear on Netflix.

1. The Crown (season 4)

This month we can once again enjoy the exceptionally well-produced series The Crown. The fourth season introduces two very important people to the world of the British royals. Gillian Anderson will play the role of ‘Iron Lady’ Margaret Thatcher, while Emma Corrin will be the princess Diane. Two ladies who will give Queen Elizabeth II quite a headache.

2. Shawn Mendes: In Wonder

Take a peek into the life of popular young singer Shawn Mendes. This documentary takes you inside Shawn’s childhood, his performances, fears and dilemmas. The story is mainly about the difference between the person he is and who he becomes when he is on stage. But above all it is about the love for music.

3. Paranormal

After The Haunting of Bly Manor, are you in the mood for more snickering? Then you’ve probably come to the right place at Paranormal. This series is set in 1960s Egypt, where a doctor tries to uncover the truth behind special cases. But can everything be explained scientifically?

4. SpongeBob: Come to the rescue

SpongeBob is back in a new 3d movie. In ‘Come to the rescue’ you learn, among other things, how SpongeBob and Gerrit the snail met. That’s important, because as soon as Gerrit is kidnapped, SpongeBob really misses his pet. Together with Patrick (and Keanu Reeves?) It’s time to find the snail.

5. The Christmas Chronicles 2

The season for Christmas movies has arrived. Including The Christmas Chronicles 2, with Kurt Russell as Santa Claus, and Goldie Hawn as Santa Claus. Children end up in the Christmas village where all the presents are made. There, a villain wants to steal the star, which is hiding the village from the rest of the world. Without a star there will never be Christmas again, so it is up to the children to do something about it.
