Pokémon GO Easter: Event starts today
You don’t have to wait until Easter Monday, because the Pokémon GO Easter event has already started today. In the so-called ‘Eggstravaganza’, as the name suggests, eggs play a leading role.
In the coming days, more different Pokémon will emerge from 2KM eggs, which you normally rarely encounter. Pichu for example, but also Misdreavus, Chansey and Aerodactyl can be found. Since you can never tell which monster is hiding inside an egg, you will have to wait for it to hatch to see which one you get.
You also get extra Candy for every monster you hatch. Playing Pokémon GO to level up your trainer pays off as you get double the XP all Easter weekend. You don’t have to do anything else for this.

The Lucky Eggs are available in stores for half the price. With a Lucky Egg you earn double the amount of XP for everything you do and also level up faster with your trainer.
