The Ziggo Go app has been considerably expanded. In addition to almost fifty extra channels, you can now also stream videos from the Movies & Series package to your Chromecast or Apple TV.
This is new in the Ziggo GO update
Ziggo has given its television app for iOS a major update. In the new version you can now watch MTV Live, Animal Planet and Motorsport.tv on your smartphone or tablet. You can also watch BBC and ARD on the go, something that was previously only possible at home on your own network.
The update contains more good news for owners of a Chromecast or Apple TV. Series and movies from the Movies & Series package can now be streamed to a Chromecast or Apple TV via AirPlay. Not all of these films and series are available in HD, which makes them less beautiful on a large screen. In addition, due to a lack of rights, it may be that some films and series cannot be checked via AirPlay.
The Ziggo GO app offers more features than just streaming. You can watch missed television, record programs remotely and get reminders for your favorite programs. The app is also a virtual remote control for the Horizon Mediabox, so you no longer need the ‘normal’ remote control.
