March was mainly the month of Battle Royale with Fortnite and PUBG Mobile, but more has hit the App Store. We think these are the best iOS games of March 2018.
Best iOS Games March 2018: Battle Royale Edition
You will probably have noticed that the biggest battle royale games PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite are now playable on iOS. That these games are at the top of our list of favorite games of March is no surprise, because they are good. However, Battle Royale isn’t for you? Then you can probably work with the other games that we have selected.
1. Fortnite (Invite Event)
Although there is only a beta version of Fortnite available, it is already our game of the month. Fortnite on iOS is an incredibly fun game and more suitable for smartphones compared to its major competitor PUBG Mobile. The games are smoother, the controls are a bit smoother and building adds an interesting dimension.

In the game you dive with 99 other players on an island full of weapons and you have to survive to the end. With this concept, every game is different, because players react differently to all kinds of situations. Fortnite is the most popular game of the past year, and for good reason.

2. PUBG Mobile
While Fortnite is a better fit for smartphones, PUBG Mobile is also an insanely good game. In this Battle Royale game you will of course also drop on an island full of weapons, but the pots are a bit longer and slower. This also makes the game a lot more exciting and every small movement can be too much. You cannot build to protect yourself, so you have to rely on your surroundings when you are shot at. You can read more about the game in our PUBG Mobile review.

3. Armello
Fan of board games and looking for the next step? Armello brings a board game to life, combining Game of Thrones and Settlers of Catan. The goal is to chase the king off the opponent’s throne. This can be done in various ways, for example by collecting fame or invoking evil forces.
To achieve this, each player does quests, for example reaching a specific space on the game board. Everyone is busy with their own goals in this way, but you also meet each other and then the fight is blown. A combination of dice and the statistics of your heroes determine the result. The game is unfortunately a bit on the slow side.

4. The Sims Mobile
While we were somewhat disappointed with the new The Sims for smartphones, it is a comprehensive game that will give you a lot of fun. You create different characters who live their lives. They work, develop relationships and so on. In the meantime, you will unlock new furniture for your home, meet others and experience adventures. The game does feel a lot less free than the big The Sims games, but you can read more about that in our The Sims Mobile review. Don’t you care? Then you can enjoy yourself.

5. Dumb Ways To Die 3: World Tour
It’s time to die in so many stupid ways again. Dumbville is not doing well and it is up to you to rebuild the town. You do this by playing mini games and getting good scores. It is a fun game with a wide variety of games and piles of things to unlock.
