Good news for Apple Watch owners: there is finally an app that lets you play Spotify through your watch. It listens to the name Watchify and you should know this.

Spotify promised to be working on an app for Apple Watch years ago, but it hasn’t happened so far. Some independent developers promised to fix this problem, but they couldn’t get it done either. Apps like Spotty and Snowy never came out.
This long wait has now come to an end. Watchify ensures that you can play Spotify music through your Apple Watch. So see it as a kind of remote control for your iPhone: the music does not play on your watch.
Moreover, the app is not yet complete. This way you cannot browse through artists or select specific songs. You also have to pay for Spotify Premium: the free version is not supported.

It is possible to turn on songs directly from your wrist. This can be done in 3 ways after starting the app: via the overview of songs, the most played songs or a playlist. Simply tap your favorite song to start streaming. You can adjust the volume with the Digital Crown.
Watchify is an independent app and is currently under development. The app can be downloaded for free from the App Store. Another program, Nuuzic, does much the same, but costs money. The advantage of this app is that you can also turn on podcasts from your Apple Watch. Of course you don’t have to worry about anything here with Apple Music: Apple’s own music service has an Apple Watch app.
