The Subaru Forester will also be available on gray license plate as Forester Van. Then of course you hand in seats for cargo space, but then you can also store quite a bit in it.
Gray passenger cars are almost as old as the road to Rome, but today the requirements are a bit more stringent than they ever were. For example, you must be able to use sufficient cargo space to qualify for it and that is why it is now almost exclusively large SUVs where such a variant is sometimes released. Think for example of the Land Rover Defender Commercial and the SsangYong Rexton. Now Subaru is joining that list with the Forester Van.
As you might expect, Subaru has stripped the Forester of its rear seats. Instead, you will now find a cargo area with a flat loading floor, neatly separated from the front seats with a partition. The result is a load volume of 1,779 liters. The rear side windows are blinded and not simply closed, so you do not immediately see from the appearance of the Forester Van that there is something special going on.
The Forester Van is equipped with the well-known mild-hybrid 2.0-liter boxer engine, good for a system power of 150 hp. Strong enough to give the Forester Van a maximum towing capacity of 1,870 kilos. The Forester Van must bring in at least € 33,395 excluding VAT and can be ordered immediately.
