New on Netflix June 2021

Netflix makes a lot of new series and movies available every day. On iPhoned we look ahead every month at the new offer with the best tips. These are often new series and films, but also old favorites that appear on Netflix.

1. Sweet Tooth

In the future a lot of people will get sick, but then special babies will appear that are part human and part animal. Some fear these hybrids and try to kill them.

Based on the DC comic of the same name, this series follows a deer boy named Gus, who befriends a man who saves him from the bad guys. Together they set out to find more hybrid children.

Available on Netflix from June 4.

2. Lupine (season 2)

The first episodes of Lupine were a welcome surprise, but the season was over in no time. The series about master thief Assane Diop who wants to prove his father’s innocence ended with a cliffhanger, but luckily you can watch the second part in June. The police are now looking for Assane, who must do everything in his power to find his son.

Airing on Netflix from 11 June.

3. Too Hot to Handle (season 2)

Put a group of handsome singles on an island thinking they are going to have a sexy time, but then tell them not to have sex or even kiss each other. Otherwise, money will be deducted from the pot. That’s Too Hot to Handle, with a new series of singles that know nothing in June.

Airing on Netflix from 23 June.

4. The Wishing Dragon

This animated film tells the famous story of the ghost from the bottle fulfilling wishes, but this time the ghost is a dragon fulfilling the wishes of a poor Chinese student. Together they set out in search of the girl the student is in love with.

Available on Netflix from June 11.

5. Feel Good (season 2)

In the first season of this series, we saw how comedienne Mae meets the cute George and they fall madly in love. But Mae has trouble opening up completely. This second (and final) season of the series shows Mae going to rehab and leaving there. Can she make amends with George afterwards?

Disney Plus Update

You can watch a new episode of Marvel series Loki every week in June. Also, the latest Pixar movie Luca is coming directly to Disney Plus at no extra cost. There is also more to see.
